Gay Malaysia
|
In Malaysia homosexual acts CAN be punished by Muslim law – which is unlikely to happen, especially to foreigners. A nationally and internationally very highly regarded Malay politician is presently spending some year’s imprisonment despite denying being involved in some homosexual activities with his former driver. It looks pretty much like he is locked away simply for an obvious political maneuver. Wandering around with open eyes you will spot gay men cruising around train stations or bus terminals or some busy spots at any time day and night. If you are getting into problems with a police officer, do not be afraid and insist of going to the nearest police station and find out if he is on duty within his police district. If he is not but simply wanted to make some extra cash, he is truly in big trouble. All you get is maybe a word of “official” wisdom. Practically police is ignoring gay life as long it is not offending to public or against general terms of conduct (underage, prostitution, drugs). As one of the “Tigers states” Malaysia is making great progress developing its infrastructure, by improving its industrial potentials, and by promoting it’s natural beauties: Rain forests with rich wild life as well as grand beaches and islands
Please report any further gay or gay-friendly address fot future listigs is very welcome.
Thank you!
